The context · Q3 2026

A closer look at logistics and transport

Logistics and transport startups raised $324 million between July and September 2026, level with the second quarter, but from 12 deals instead of 19. Moove's $250 million Series C, led by Mubadala, accounted for most of it, as Spiro's $270 million round had in the quarter before. Two companies, two quarters, two of the largest rounds in African venture.

Below them sits a steadier business of debt. Arc Ride raised $33.3 million of equity and debt in Kenya, M-Kopa drew a $30 million facility from FMO for electric motorbikes, Spiro added $18 million from the Africa Go Green Fund and Watu secured $7 million from AHL Venture Partners. Our Q3 report has the full picture.

What does this page cover?

Companies match the recorded Logistics & Transport sector. Country does not imply incorporation, founder nationality or every market served. Counts include the financing types recorded by Propel, including equity, debt and grants. Unknown amounts are not zero. Dates retain their recorded precision. This is not a complete market census.

Listings follow Propel’s current public records. The dated context is editorial background, not a live market total. Secondary share sales are excluded from recorded funding here. Named backers are recorded participants; their inclusion does not identify them as the lead investor.
