Yamify has secured the first tranche of its Pre-Seed round from Launch Africa Ventures, Disrupt Africa reported on 5 June. The amount of this tranche was not disclosed. Felix Anane, an early backer of Paystack, launched Yamify in 2025 with $100,000.

What Yamify does

Yamify offers a developer-focused AI platform. Freelancers and web agencies can use it to deploy GPU-powered AI tools from local African data centres in under a minute. Disrupt Africa describes the company as the "Heroku for AI tools in Africa". Luc Okalobé founded it. Launch Africa Ventures is described as an early-stage venture capital firm.

Traction and plans

The company reports early traction with fintechs and web agencies. Its users and activity are spread across Lagos, Kinshasa, Brazzaville, Johannesburg and San Francisco. The funding is meant to reduce the risk of early distribution through partners OADC and Cassava AI.
