Village Capital has made two investments in Ghana through its Africa Ecosystem Catalysts Facility, Africa Private Equity News reported. VDL Fulfilment received $150,000 and Rivia Clinics received $200,000. The facility is a $4 million pilot funded by FMO and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.

VDL Fulfilment

VDL Fulfilment is an e-commerce logistics platform that helps African SMEs store, manage and deliver products through integrated warehousing, order management and last-mile delivery. Its financing is a blend of a convertible note and milestone-based debt. It has processed more than $3.8 million in merchandise value, fulfilled more than 170,000 orders and supports more than 150 active vendors. The money will strengthen warehouse and fulfilment infrastructure, expand the fleet and build distributed hubs closer to demand. CEO Vanessa Omari said: "premature scale creates inefficiencies that compound quickly."

Rivia Clinics

Rivia Clinics is a tech-enabled primary healthcare platform. It gives SMEs and individuals access to branded and partner clinics through one membership, with virtual and in-person care. Founder Isidore Kpotufe launched it in 2024, and it has reached more than 50,000 patients using an asset-light expansion model. The funds will expand the clinic chain, strengthen sales and deepen virtual care.
