Robocare has secured an undisclosed six-figure investment from 216 Capital, Wamda reported on 23 June.
What Robocare does
The company builds an AI-powered precision agriculture platform. It combines satellite imagery, drone data, IoT sensors, weather data and field expertise to detect crop diseases and stress early. Its key crops are olive trees, cereals and processing tomatoes. Imen Hbiri founded the company in 2020, and it is based in Sfax, Tunisia.
Results
Robocare monitors several thousand hectares and has generated thousands of agronomic alerts. It has partnerships with several institutional players. Field results include up to 35% water savings, 25% lower use of agricultural inputs and 20% higher yields.
Plans
The investment will help Robocare move into new African and Middle Eastern markets, strengthen its commercial teams to win major agribusiness clients and improve its AI models for new agricultural contexts.
