Ora Technologies has raised a further $2 million, which founder and CEO Omar Alami says brings its Series A to $10 million, Médias24 reported on 14 July. The new money came from private Moroccan investors who were not named, and the valuation was not disclosed.
The earlier close
The first close of the Series A was announced in July 2025 and totalled $7.5 million. It was led by Azur Innovation Fund alongside three other strategic local investors. Alami described the full round in a LinkedIn post as the largest Series A financed by local investors in Morocco, according to the article.
What Ora does
The Moroccan startup, founded in 2023, offers digital services including meal delivery under the Kooul brand, mobile payments through ORA Cash, and e-commerce and last-mile logistics. Figures from the July 2025 announcement put Kooul at more than 15,000 active customers after ten months, and ORA Cash at more than 50,000 accounts in its first five months.
Plans
The funding is intended to speed up the development of Kooul and to integrate ORA Cash into the e-commerce and last-mile logistics activities of Cathedis.
