Mylerz, an Egyptian e-commerce logistics company, has raised more than $2 million, or EGP 100 million, in a mix of new debt and equity, Wamda reported on 15 July. Lorax Capital Partners led the round, with Fawry and existing investors taking part. The press release describes the capital as coming from existing shareholders.
What Mylerz does
Founded in 2019, Mylerz provides end-to-end e-commerce logistics, fulfilment and last-mile delivery. A technology platform lets merchants manage their shipments and operations. The company serves e-commerce and cross-border trade channels in Egypt. Samer Gharaibeh is founder and CEO.
Why it raised
The money is meant to strengthen the balance sheet and working capital, scale fulfilment infrastructure and network capacity, and invest in the technology platform, including same-day and next-day delivery. Wamda notes that Lorax also led an earlier $9.6 million round in 2022. The company disclosed no traction figures.
