Cairo-based e-commerce fulfilment company Turuq has taken its first outside investment, a seed equity round from Den VC. The company did not disclose the size of the round, the valuation or Den VC's stake, according to Enterprise.
Founded by Ahmed Atta and Karim Kamal, Turuq has been operating since June 2023 and was incorporated in January 2025. It runs warehousing, inventory, order packing, courier routing and last-mile delivery for online merchants through one platform. It opened its first warehouse in April 2024, added a pickup model for merchants with their own storage in March 2025, and in August 2025 launched F.I.R.M., an in-house AI layer that flags unreliable order updates.
Turuq told Enterprise it is already profitable, with gross margins of 40 to 45% and net margins of 10 to 15%, and that it did not raise the money to cover operational burn. The funding goes into accounting infrastructure, systems for higher order volumes, a marketing team, regulatory compliance and some operational capital spending. Its next steps are same-day delivery, more fulfilment capacity and a software platform for merchants.
The introduction to Den VC came through InvestIT, an investment-readiness programme Turuq completed a year earlier. Rivals Khazenly and ShipBlu have also raised venture funding.
